Brother.  Son.  Friend.  Cancer Survivor.

Initially when I decided I wanted to run across Idaho, it was for my own self satisfaction - to see what I could do and could I push myself to the limits in that way.

However, I felt that I needed another purpose to get up every day and keep going.  That is when I learned about The Tenley Foundation - a foundation that helps local Idaho families of children with cancer.  You can learn more about them here:  That is also when I decided to dedicate my run to these families and especially the amazing kids fighting cancer - like the Jons family in this picture.

You see, I am a cancer survivor too.

In April 2005, I was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer at age 33. I had surgery at the Huntsman Cancer Hospital in Salt Lake City and had it removed.  Follow up scans were done on April 22, 2005 and I was told I was cancer free!

With your help and my run, we can make a HUGE difference in the lives of these families!  Stay tuned for more information on how to make a donation...
